Sony Venice RIALTO

The Rialto extension system takes the Sony VENICE sensor block off the body, separating imaging from control so the camera can be placed where a full cinema body simply won’t fit. Same full-frame 6K VENICE sensor, dual native ISO (500 / 2500), and Sony’s 15+ stops of latitude, just split into a lightweight head and extension cable.

It’s used when the camera needs to disappear into the environment—cars, cockpit work, cranes, handheld crash positions, or anywhere rigging constraints would normally dictate compromises. You keep the full VENICE image pipeline, but gain physical freedom in how you deploy it.

Commonly run with TRIBE 7 BLACKWING or ZEISS SUPREMES and VAXIS STORM 3000 on commercial and narrative sets where placement is everything.
