A compact accessory that mounts round close-up optics directly onto the matte box framework. It provides a secure way to hold heavy glass for macro work, allowing the DP to achieve extreme close-ups without adding a separate, bulky lens support system.
The stage clips onto the matte box and features a tight locking screw to keep the optics perfectly stable. It allows the AC to execute fast diopter swaps while keeping the camera build lightweight and stripped-down for gimbal or handheld operation.
Typically used alongside ARRI LMB 4x5, Schneider Diopter Set, and ARRI ALEXA Mini LF .
